GTA 6 Online rumored to arrive after the single-player launch

Many fans expect the online mode for GTA 6 to launch separately from, and a little after, the single-player game on November 19, 2026. This is a reasonable prediction because that is exactly what happened with GTA 5: GTA Online arrived a couple of weeks after the main game in 2013.

That said, it remains a rumor. Rockstar has not confirmed whether a GTA 6 online mode launches day one, weeks later, or further out, nor has it detailed how it works. We are not presenting this as fact.
