GTA 6 graphics and tech: the leap from GTA 5

GTA 6 is a current-generation-only game, built for PS5 and Xbox Series X and S. That is why the trailers show a clear jump over GTA 5 in detail, lighting, water, crowds and character fidelity.

Rockstar has not published technical specifications. The footage suggests advanced lighting and a highly reactive world, which is also why there is no last-generation or, so far, PC version.
