State of Leonida

Leonida is the state GTA 6 takes place in, and it stands in for real-world Florida. Rockstar describes it as the home of Vice City and the land around it, stretching from a glossy beach metropolis out to wetlands, small coastal towns, and a chain of tropical islands.

Because Leonida is the container for everything else, the named regions below all sit inside it. The state mixes city, suburb, farmland, and swamp, which is unusual for a single GTA map and lets the game move between very different environments without leaving the world.
